Tearful's Chill Spot!!!!

Part two of this update is gonna be mostly rambling about a particular music album. Epic: The Musical is SO GOOD WHY DIDN'T I LISTENED TO IT BEFORE. I remember seeing fanart of the musical on my Tumblr feed like months back but thought nothing of it. Until today at work, I just decided to listen to a couple songs of the album....only to listen to the whole 2hrs and 30mins of glorious banger after banger. Like I was wowed! Most times musicals have like two or three songs that are ok, but NO all the songs are good. I hope the album is adapted to full musical not only so I watch in person, but also the miracle such a thing would bring to English classes across the world. Instead of reading like 300+ pages of the Odyssey the teacher could just assign students to watch the musical, or at least integate the musical as part of the learning the Greek epic. Just listening to the album made me realize how much I forgot of the epic, so I can see this musical as a whole being a gamechanger.

Almost a whole month since the last post sorry about that. So overall things been good between the last post and now; at least I got a lot of cool stuff to share. For starters: The Look Back movie was good, unfornuately can't share anything else about it. It's best to watch the movie blind as possible to the plot. Second cool thing I wanted to share was I finally...FINALLY found a copy of Darker than Black Season 1 at a reasonable price; I was looking for YEARS for a copy that wasn't like $150 or more. Finally in my collection at last:"D . Finally, I attended a Monster Truck event and a Open Mic event in the same week. To be honest, monster trucks was never a thing I noticed or seeked out but one of my friends brought up going to an event since it was in town. Naturally, us being the four muskteers, we all got tickets and went to see giant trucks doing things. It was more than what I expected for a monster truck event, but it was stil cool albeit a bit loud even with earplugs. I found it hiralous how many technical issues that kept popping up with the vehicles. Overall a good time. The following day was a local black Open Mic event at night; the vibe through the night was chill and welcoming as all the poets spoke their piece. My family plan on going to another one to help support the local scene more. Alright that's all for part one of this update.

Finally made a list of movies from last year that I wanted to check out. I'm always to late to the crub to watch good stuff (ex: took a year to watch Frieren and it was so good). So far for the movie list I'm planning to watch..

Probably gonna try Look Back first since it's the shortest. As for the series/shows I'm currently watching: Beastars Final Season, The Apothecary Diaries, Spice & Wolf Remake, El Cazaro de la Bruja and Thus Spoke Rohan Kishbe TV Drama. Will try to keep posted on the progress through the movies :D

Whoops. It's already the end of the month and i forgot to post updates. Plus I finally searched why neocities was not showing updated code (turns out it was the cache so I had to redo lots of code :c). But good news! I finally bought a new sewing machine to replace the one I had for like three-four years. It was the cheap Luby machine which was functional, but fought tooth and nail to set up properly. Since the bobbin was vertically/flat, you had to set it a certain way or else the thread would snap while sewing. To put into perspective how often I set the machine up properly, no doubt 3/10 times. But that's now in the past cuz I got a pretty Janome machine (first time hearing the brand but it's on par with Singer and Brother). Also my first January driving so that was fun....besides the ice...and the snow.

Happy New Years!!! Only got two goals for this year: Learn how to crochet and try to do more yoga. I got the yarn and crochet needles to attempt a circular rug/blanket using double crochet. I usually knit so this is a new field for me. As for yoga, it was one of the sports classes I enjoyed in high school. They're so many other creative/learning goals that I kept off the new years wish list because of how lucarative for me to complete last year. Welp, wish me luck. P.S It's gonna be the year of the snake woohoo ~>°)～～～

Y'ALL OKAMI 2 IS REAL ＼(◎o◎)／！ It was just announced. One of top five games if not my favorite game of all time was Okami. One of the first games I got for my wii console was the wii port of Okami, which converted surprisely well from PS2 to the wii. I had so many hours into my wii copy, then bought the game twice (PC then Switch during the winter sale). Can't wait :D

Completed Christmas shopping today! Started in mid-September and finally finished today after three months. It's funny cuz one of my cousins questioned why I start so soon. Welp, now I'm done shopping and can just focus on giftwrapping/handing out gifts. Even got some presents for my younger cousins. Hope they like them. All that's really left is one of my friend's gift, but I don't met up with her nor the other friends until January so it'll work out.
